Our History
EnXL was founded in 2012 by Bruce and Kathy Johnson. Since then EnXL has continued to bring innovative solutions to the energy industry. What started as a small operation offering oil and gas processing expertise to upstream oil and gas producers has grown to provide full turn-key processing facilities. Starting as engineering consultants EnXL added a strong construction management team with specialized labor teams, including an inhouse concrete crew and lightning protection installers. We then added a top notch procurement team to manage all purchasing, inventory control, and invoice management for our projects. We continue to strengthen our offerings with mechanical designers and project management experts while making Safety and Environmental, Social, and Governance practices a priority. Thanks to our strategic evolution we can now provide our clients with everything they need to be successful.
Leadership
Bruce Johnson
Founder and CEO
Bruce Johnson is the CEO and a Founder of EnXL LLC. Prior to founding EnXL LLC in 2012 Bruce had an extensive career in the oil industry that spanned drilling, capital projects, and operations in US onshore, Gulf of Mexico, and Egypt. A proud graduate of University Tulsa with a degree in Petroleum Engineering Bruce has filed three patents for water processing technology and has partnered with leading innovators to bring the best the world has to offer to the energy industry.
Kathy Johnson
Founder and President
Kathy Johnson is the President and a Founder of EnXL LLC. Since its formation in 2012 Kathy has led the development of the operational practices and organizational values that shape and guide EnXL. She oversees the business administrative functions from accounting, procurement and HR to office management. Kathy graduated from the University of Tulsa with a degree in business administration and prior to founding EnXL LLC managed the business operations of a ranch and horse breeding operation.
Chris Johnson
Executive Vice President
Chris Johnson is the COO of EnXL LLC. He joined EnXL in 2016 to oversee a growing portfolio of oil and gas construction projects and D &C operations. With years of upstream industry experience specializing in the execution of drilling and construction projects around the world, Chris is an expert in project execution. Chris received his degree in Petroleum and Natural Gas Engineering from New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology.
Matt Grasha
Engineering Manager
Matt Grasha is an Engineering Manager of EnXL LLC. He joined EnXL in 2022 to oversee and assist in D & C operations of producing and SWD wells, operations of oil and gas producing properties and oil and gas construction projects. For the last 43 years, Matt has primarily worked in the Permian Basin. Matt received his BS degree in Chemical Engineering and a minor in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh. Matt is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Texas.
