Construction Supervisor (Oil & Gas)

Summary:

Directly supervise and coordinate onsite construction activities for upstream oil and gas production facilities, Pipelines, Gas Plants, and SWD facilities. Support the construction manager and project manager(s) in controlling the quality, cost, safety, and productivity performance of the construction team.

Job Responsibilities

– Participate in constructability reviews
– Assist construction manager and project manager to ensure that project is carried out as designed
– Oversee well pad construction: caliche pads, leveling and layout, rebar placement, concrete pours
– Read and follow plans, material lists and guidelines, and apply necessary timelines
– Review bill of materials and construction drawings for accuracy prior to construction
– Read and interpret construction drawings and plans including P&IDs, – General Arrangements, ISOs, Piping Plans, and Civil Plans
– Organize, supervise, and lead crews to complete projects
– Organize construction crews and coordinate simultaneous operations (SIMOPS)
– Conduct safety activities and issue safety permit forms
– Complete and organize field generated documentation including JSAs, permits, and test reports
– Perform inspections of in-progress work and identify corrective actions
– Review bill of materials and construction drawings for accuracy prior to construction
– Track and complete punch list items throughout the construction phase to post-commissioning
– Identify, correct, and document unsafe behaviors and near misses
– Maintain a clean and well-organized construction site free of hazards and trash
– Submit daily reports and photos of construction progress and upload into company systems
– Balance resources across multiple projects
– Provide support and resources for crews
– Assist Supply Chain with inventory control and tracking


Facility/Process Engineer

Summary:

Develop and design production batteries, compressor stations, gas lift systems, and pipeline systems. Simulate and engineer vessels, pipelines, and processing units using tools like Hysis, Promax, and PipeSim. Mentor junior team members on facility and process engineering. Ensure accurate design of oil and gas infrastructure while fostering a collaborative office environment.

Job Responsibilities

Capable of developing PFDs and P&IDs, and engineer/design production batteries, compressor stations, and gas lift systems. Ability to size equipment and design gathering and export pipelines systems..


Major Functions and Scope: (include but not limited to)

  • Accurately simulate, engineer, and design: upstream vessels, gathering and distribution pipeline systems, dehydration, condensate, conditioning, sour system, processing, JT system, compression, flares, and emissions.
  • Generate simulations using industry process simulators such as Hysis, Promax, and PipeSim.

Qualifications

  • Ability to generate Promax models or similar simulation software
  • Experience in Oil & Gas Industry Facilities and Process Engineering
  • Familiarity with MS Office Suite
  • Good communication skills, both verbal and written

Experience

This position requires 10-15 years of relevant industrial experience in Facility/Process Engineering.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Some supervisory responsibilities are associated with this position; This position will require mentoring less-experienced team members.

Work Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers. Office dress is casual in a team player environment.

Education:

  • Bachelors degree in Chemical/Mechanical Engineering
  • PE license preferred
